So, my brother tells me today that if you google seach “Montgomery Half Marathon, ” I am the second entry and the first about the actual “Hyundai Capitol City Half Marathon.” I guess I should update my information!

Montgomery Half Marathon Route

The Montgomery Half is going to be a fun race. This course takes runners through many of Montgomery’s Scenic areas, culminating in a downhill sprint with the State Capitol at your back to the finish line. One of my friends helped design the route and it is both fun and challenging.

In addition to the half, there is a 5K and Kid’s run. I will post more information as it comes up, but I hope this race becomes a staple of the Montgomery Area for years to come. Many runners have bemoaned the lack of longer races in Montgomery, so here we go!
